Metamorphosis I
During the period when the universe changed from chaos to order, there was a group of non-human, non-animal creatures, which we may call "beastly." They floated, moved, or remained still in a fluid-like medium. Their forms were blurry and indefinite, and slow changed in the flow of the liquid. Suddenly, just before the moment of transformation, they were frozen in time. Everything around them instantly stopped, the liquid stopped flowing, and all creatures hung suspended in space, waiting for the next moment to arrive.
At the same time, in a beast-shaped body, a humanoid being was being nurtured. It was wrapped in a burning fireball, expanding... expanding…until finally the next moment arrived. The fireball silently exploded, gravity resumed, and fiery red magma spewed out. The humanoid creature slid out along the liquid, slowly descending. In the next moment, gravity disappeared once again... everything floating in mid-air...
Whether any of this ever existed, no one knows…
